Careers Advisers Seminar - Friday 13 February 2009

The UNSW Careers Advisers Seminar provides teachers and careers advisers with the opportunity to find out about UNSW new directions, new programs and to see the campus.

We had over 150 Careers Advisers participate in this years seminar. Our exit surveys indicate that the seminar was informative, interesting and useful. Thank you to all those who attended and helped make the day a success.

School Visits and Campus Tours

Members of the Student Recruitment Office staff and our student ambassadors can visit your school and talk about undergraduate programs, alternate entry, transition from school to university and student life at UNSW.

Alternatively, we can arrange for your students to tour the Kensington campus and talk with faculty representatives and other members of staff. Tours of UNSW's Kensington campus are an ideal way of experiencing the vibrant and busy community of UNSW.

For information and bookings, contact the UNSW Student Recruitment Office on + 61 2 9385 1844 or via email at studentrecruitment@unsw.edu.au.

UNSW Events

UNSW holds several events throughout the year to ensure that high school students have access to the guidance they need.

Courses and Careers Day (5 September 2009) is an opportunity to tour the campus, discover about life as a student, study costs, admissions and college accommodation.

Info Day (Tuesday 6 January 2009) allows students to talk to academic and general staff, current students, attend lectures, look at accommodation and take tours of the campus.

These days are an excellent way for prospective students to get a 'feel' for university life.

Please visit the Careers Events and Exhibitions website for more information on all UNSW events.

Expos and Careers Markets

The SRO participates in many Careers Markets throughout New South Wales, the ACT, Victoria and Queensland from early April to early September.

These career markets allow us to provide the information that your students need when making that 'right choice'.

A listing of the careers markets that UNSW Student Recruitment will be attending in 2008 will be available shortly.
